Bears Awarded WR Bellamy Off Waivers
(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears are adding wide receiver Josh Bellamy to the team. Chicago was awarded the 24-year-old off waivers after he was cut by the Redskins last week. He's spent time on the Chiefs, Chargers and 'Skins practice squads after going undrafted in 2012.
Veteran Bears long snapper Patrick Mannelly says he's leaning towards retirement if he doesn't play for Chicago this season. The team's all-time leader in games played with 245 has been with the team for 17 seasons. He is currently recovering from hip surgery.
Rams To Host Buffalo's Mack This Week
(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams are set to host former Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack later this week. ESPN reports Mack will visit the team Thursday and Friday after spending time with the Jaguars Tuesday and today. The Rams hold the second-overall pick while Jacksonville has the third pick.
