Rams Land Three Compensatory Picks

(Orlando, FL) -- The Rams are being awarded three compensatory picks for the upcoming NFL Draft. The league handed out a total of 32 compensatory picks to 13 different teams. St. Louis received a sixth-round pick as well as a pair of seventh rounders.

Bears Restructure Cutler Deal

(Orlando, FL) -- The Bears are clearing more cap space by restructuring the deal of quarterback Jay Cutler. Chicago is converting $5-million of Cutler's base salary into a signing bonus, which will clear about $4-million off the cap. Cutler's 2014 cap hit will now be $18.5-million.

The Bears narrowly missed out on receiving a compensatory pick for this year's NFL Draft. Chicago qualified for a pick, but ranked 33rd when only 32 choices are given out. The NFL awarded 13 different teams with picks. The Jets and Ravens each hauled in four.
