North Clay Finishes Third In Chuck Ingram Cross Country Boys Invite

HARRISBURG -- North Clay High School claimed third place at the Chuck Ingram Boys Cross Country Invitational Wednesday.

Herrin won the meet with 20 points followed by Vienna 74, North Clay 90, McLeansboro Hamilton County 95, Eldorado 116, Norris City-Omaha-Enfield 146, Carrier Mills-Stonefort 152 and Galatia 213.

Herrin's Nolen Frost won the meet with a time of 17:02.3.

Scoring for North Clay were Zane Groves ininth place in 18:08.3, Cooper Givens 21st in 20:10.6, Corbin Dehart 29th in 21:01.2, Diego Martinez Gomez 30th in 21:07.4 and Paul Hudson 41st in 22:26.0. Also competing were Wyatt Pritchard 43rd in 22:50.9 and Josiah Swope 61st in 24:34.1.

In the girls meet, North Clay's Brooke Koelm finished third in 20:50.86.

Winning the meet was Marion's Kara Odum with a time of 19:44.67.
