Junior High Cross Country -- Sept. 3

Effingham St. Anthony won a girls junior high cross country meet Tuesday while the boys claimed second.

Nora Niebrugge finished in first place with a time of 13:33 followed by Maeve Niebrugge third in 14:28, Morgan Kabes fourth in 14:28.79 and  Hannah Frisbie fifth in 14:29. Also competing were Brynn Weber 23rd  in 16:32 and Rosie Warner 27th in 16:50.

In the boys meet, Max Schuette took third in 11:40 followed by Braxton Schultz 16th in 12:43, Will Ludwig 17th in 12:51, Grayson Bloemer 18th in 13:00, James Uebinger 24th in 13:25, Marty Scheidemantel 33rd in 14:01, Colin Storm 35th in 14:15, Owen Gillenwater 39th in 14:33, Henry Bierman 50th in 14:51, Brantly Wilhour 55th in 15:00, Ben Sudkmap 58th in 15:05, Kyle Thoele 63rd in 15:32, Nathan Bailey 66th in 15:54 and Jacob Thoele 68th in 16:08.
