St. A Claims Five-Team Boys Cross Country Meet, Girls Second

Effingham St. Anthony hosted North Clay (Louisville), Teutopolis, Paris and Robinson in boys and girls cross country competition Tuesday.

The Bulldogs won the boys meet with 34 followed by Paris 66, Robinson 70, North Clay 84 and Teutopolis 96.

Paris' Harrison Hays won the meet with a time of 16:48.

St. Anthony's Julius Ramos took third in 17:35 followed by Camden Bloemer fifth in 17:38, Noah Flaig eighth in 18:10, Michael Fearday 11th in 18:28 and Oliver Kreke 12th in 18:33.

North Clay's Zane Groves took seventh in 18:09. T-town's top finisher was Oliver Lee 14th in 19:09.

In the girls meet, Robinson won with 27 followed by St. Anthony 36 and Teutopolis 57.

St. Anthony's Aubrey Denning took first in 19:01. North Clay's Brooke Koelm was second in 20:39.
