St. A's Isabella Keller Wins Top Race at Chrisman Cow Chip C.C. Invite

St. Anthony's Isabella Keller claimed first place at the Cow Chip Classic.

CHRISMAN -- Effingham St. Anthony High School's Isabella Keller captured first place at the Chrisman Cow Chip Cross Country Invitational Saturday.

Keller was competing in Flight 1 of the girls meet and finished with a time of 17:10.5 minutes.

The Bulldogs' Aubrey Denning claimed second place in Flight 2 with a time of 20:52.7.

Tolono Unity won the team championship with a total of 59 points. The champions were followed by Uni-High 143, Robinson 157, Monticello 166, St. Anthony 168,  Paxton-Buckley-Loda 210, No team scores for Teutopolis, Champaign St. Thomas More, Argenta-Oreana, St. Joseph-Ogden, Sullivan/Okaw Valley, Prairie Central, Oakwood-Salt Fork, Armstrong, Casey-Westfield, Academy High, Chrisman/Georgetown, Westville, Heritage and Villa Grove

In the boys meet, the highest area finisher was St. Anthony's James Emmerich in sixth place with a time of 20:24.1.

Sixth, seventh and eighth grade boys and girls also competed in races.

The top area runners were St. Anthony's Bella Schultz second in the sixth-grade girls meet in 13:42 and Nora Niebrugge second in the seventh-grade girls meet in 13:47
