Charleston Claims Cross Country Wins

Charleston High School picked up both the girls and the boys cross country wins at Ballard Nature Center Monday.

The Trojans claimed the girls meet with 21 points while Dieterich had 45. Altamont did not have enough runners for a team score.

Charleston's Megan Garrett took the top spot with a time of 20:08. The Trojans captured the top three spots.

Dieterich's Kaitlyn Boerngen finished fourth in 23:06. Altamont's Brianna Grunloh took eighth in 24:31.67.

In the boys meet, Charleston was the winner with 27 points followed by Dieterich with 29. Altamont did not have enough runners for a team score.

Charleston's Luca Carcas finished first in 18:10.

Altamont's Corey Jackson was second in 18:56. Dieterich's Wyatte Brummer was fourth in 19:10.29.
