Cumberland Claims Cross Country Victories

In the girls meet, Cumberland tallied 27 to edge Dieterich with 28. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City did not have enough runners for a team score.

Cumberland's Jasmyn Dittamore was the winner with a time of 18:50.  Also scoring for the Pirates were Eve Brown third in 20:21, Maggie Clark seventh in 22:58, Morgan Scott 11th in 25:44 and Abbagayl Howald 13th in 26;29.

Dieterich's scoring came from Kaitlyn Boerngen fourth in 22:01, Cortney Brummer fifth in 22:19, Adriana Gordon sixth in 22:22, McKenna French ninth in 24:50 and Emily Bloemer 12th in 26:12.

CHBC's top runner was Sydney Lorton second in 19:53.

In the boys meet, Cumberland nabbed the top two spots and placed all five runners in the top 10 for a 20-37 win over Dieterich. CHBC did not have enough team members for a score.

Cumberland's Brayden Cox won in 16:38 followed by teammate Wiley Peters in 17:32. Logan Edwards finished fifth in 18:17 and Hank Warfel sixth in 18:24. Michael Beaumont finished 10th in 19:20.

Dieterich's Wyatte Brummer took third in 17:50, Gabe Jackson eighth in 18:38, Jack Bloemer ninth in 19:03, Colton Kidd 12th in 19:37 and Cole Will 13th in 19:38.

CHBC's Kenny Robbins finished fourth in 18:07.
