Effingham Competes in Centralia Invitational

Effingham competed Saturday in the Centralia Invitational.

The Hearts boys' squad finished ninth with 233 points. Centralia won the meet.

Effingham finishers: Clayton Cramsey 40th (18:12.9); Zeel Patel 43rd (18:23.6); Preston Latch 52nd (19:08.3); Dane Seiler 56th (19:37); Frank Rosen 57th (19:38.7); Christian Raddatz 61st (20:57.8)

The Effingham girls' squad finished fourth in the seven-team field with 92 points. Carbondale won the meet.

Effingham finishers: Marah Kirk 11th (20:13.2); Kiley Weaver 14th (20:32); Nicole Schneiderjon 23rd (21:19.5); Hope Monnet 26th (22:33.3); Daelyn Dunston 29th (22:47.3)

Effingham also competed in the freshman/sophomore boys' event, finishing third with 65 points. Olney Richland County won the event.
