St. Anthony Sweeps Boys, Girls JH Meets

St. Anthony captured both the boys and girls quadrangulars this week also involving Okaw Valley, CHBC and Mattoon St. John's.
There were just two full teams in the girls meet, which St. Anthony won over Mattoon St. John's 15 to 50.
St. Anthony's Riley Guy claimed the win in 13:42.94. Anna Faber was third in 14:29.97, Evie Strullmyer fourth in 14:33.59, Allison Geen fifth in 14:56.62, Emma Helmink sixth in 15:00.81, Ellie Wegman seventh in 15:51.78, Abby Dietzen eighth in 16:10.91, Grace Niebrugge ninth in 16:11.24, and Sophia Seagle 10th in 16:16.15.
Haley Bartels of CHBC was second in 14:11.09, and Chloe Atchley of CHBC was 12th in 17:29.81.
St. Anthony won the boys meet with 21 points, CHBC 39, Okaw Valley 88, and Mattoon St. John 98.
Bryon Rhodes of CHBC won the meet in 12:10.81. St. Anthony finished second through fifth; Aidan Braunecker in 12:12.72, Kevin Canales-Gonzalez in 12:20.88, Conlan Walsh in 12:35.50, and Griffen Elder in 12:37.00. Also for St. Anthony: Nick Wiedman seventh in 12:49.25, George Scheidemantel ninth in 13:14.59 and Drew Hanfland 10th in 13:22.09. Also for St. Anthony: Giovanni Bucio 12th in 13:25.24, Ivan Dong 13th in 13:36.18, Max Sager 14th in 13:42.12, Nate Braun 19th in 14:25.12, Elliot Frisbie 20th in 14:25.75, Louis Jansen 22nd in 14:42.75, Eli Link 24th in 15:47.94, Ethan Bernhard 26th in 16:09.25, James Emmerich 27th in 16:25.88, Connor Roepke 28th in 16:36.59, Charlie Wegman 30th in 16:57.91, Teddy Dietzen 32nd in 17:40.47, and Sam Deters 36th in 20:17.09.
