K-State Upsets Kansas In Manhattan
(Manhattan, KS) -- Marcus Foster scored 20 points leading Kansas State to an 85-82 overtime win over seventh-ranked Kansas last night in Manhattan. The Wildcats improved to 7-4 in the Big 12. Perry Ellis led the way for the Jayhawks with 19 points and 11 rebounds as KU fell to 9-2 in the Big 12. On Saturday, KU hosts TCU and K-State visits Baylor.
ISU Upset By West Virginia
(Morgantown, WV) -- Georges Niang scored 17 points but 14th-ranked Iowa State was upset 102-77 at West Virginia last night. Dustin Hogue added 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Cyclones fell to 18-5 with a 6-5 Big 12 mark. ISU plays host to Texas Tech on Saturday
Terps No Match For UVA
(Charlottesville, VA) -- Seth Allen's 15 points were not enough for Maryland in last night's 61-53 loss at Virginia. Dez Wells added 12 points for the Terrapins, who fell to 14-11 with a 6-6 ACC record. The Terps play their final ACC game at Duke Saturday.
Illinois At Nebraska Wednesday
(Lincoln, NE) -- The Illinois Fighting Illini are headed to Lincoln to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Wednesday night. The Illini snapped their eight-game losing streak with Sunday's 60-55 win at Penn State. Illinois is now 14-10 on the year and 3-and-8 in the Big Ten. Nebraska sits at 12-10 and 4-6.
