EIU's Dennis Green Has Been Suspended

CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois men’s basketball coach Jay Spoonhour has announced that redshirt-freshman guard Dennis Green has been suspended for a violation of the EIU Student-Athlete Code of Conduct.
The Panthers are 7-13 on the year and 4-5 in Ohio Valley Conference action. EIU plays host to Cleveland State on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. in a non-conference matchup.
The Bronx, N.Y., native appeared in 16 games this season, averaging 5.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
EIU will have no further comment on the suspension.
