Illinois Falls To Ohio State
(Columbus, OH) -- Joseph Bertrand scored 19 points as Illinois was outscored by eight during the second half in a 62-55 setback to Ohio State in Columbus. Jon Ekey added 11 points and five rebounds for Illinois, which slipped to 13-7 and 2-5 in the Big Ten. The Illini are at Indiana Sunday.
Northwestern Hosts Iowa
(Evanston, IL) -- The Northwestern Wildcats host the Iowa Hawkeyes tomorrow. Tip from Welsh-Ryan Arena is at 11 a.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Wildcats are 10-and-10 overall with a 3-4 conference record. The Hawkeyes come in at 15-4 and 4-2 in the Big Ten.
Arizona Cruises Past Colorado To Remain Perfect
(Tucson, AZ) -- Nick Johnson scored 18 points as top-ranked Arizona remained perfect on the season with a 69-57 win over Colorado at the McKale Center. Brandon Ashley added 15 points and Aaron Gordon had 12 for the Wildcats, who improved to 19-0 on the season and 6-0 in Pac-12 play. U-of-A hosts Utah Sunday.
No. 6 Gators Knock Off Alabama
(Tuscaloosa, AL) -- Michael Frazier the Second dropped in a game-high 18 points as sixth-ranked Florida knocked off Alabama 68-62 in Tuscaloosa. Casey Prather posted 14 points and Scottie Wilbekin added 10 for the Gators, who have won 10 in-a-row to improve to 16-2 on the year and 5-0 in the SEC. Florida hosts Tennessee on Saturday.
Cincinnati Rocks Central Florida
(Cincinnati, OH) -- Cincinnati kept things rolling dominating Central Florida, 69-51, at Fifth Third Arena Thursday. Sean Kilpatrick led the way with 19 points as the Bearcats improved to 18-2 overall and 7-0 in the AAC. They are at Temple on Sunday
Gonzaga Outlasts San Diego
(Spokane, WA) -- The Gonzaga Bulldogs held on for a 59-56 win over San Diego at home. Gonzaga improved to 7-1 in the WCC and 17-3 overall. Sam Dower scored 18 points to go with 10 rebounds for the 21st-ranked Zags. They host BYU on Saturday night.
Memphis Romps Houston
(Memphis, TN) -- Shaq Goodwin posted 20 points and six rebounds to help Memphis cruise to an 82-59 win over Houston at the FedExForum Thursday. Joe Jackson added 18 points and seven assists for the Tigers, who improved to 14-4 overall and 4-2 in the AAC. They host South Florida on Sunday.
