Heat Hold Off Lakers

(Miami, FL) -- Chris Bosh scored a game-high 31 points with six rebounds to help the Heat take care of the Lakers, 109-102, at AmericanAirlines Arena. LeBron James put up 27 points, 13 boards and six assists for Miami, which has won four-of-five. Dwyane Wade missed his fourth straight game. Pau Gasol and Jodie Meeks each posted 22 points in the loss. Nick Young added 19 off the bench for Los Angeles. The Lakers have followed a two-game winning streak with two consecutive losses.

Blazers Top Nuggets

(Portland, OR) -- LaMarcus Aldridge racked up a career-high 44 points, 13 rebounds and five assists as the Trail Blazers topped the Nuggets 110-105 at the Moda Center. Wesley Matthews dropped in 24 points for the Blazers, who avoided their first three-game losing streak of the season. Robin Lopez added 12 points and nine boards in the victory. Wilson Chandler scored 18 points and Ty Lawson notched 13 points and 11 assists for Denver, which has lost three in-a-row. Randy Foye donated 14 points and Nate Robinson had 13 in the setback.

Bulls Host Clippers

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago Bulls battle the Los Angeles Clippers at the United Center tonight. Tip on ESPN is at 7 p.m. The Bulls defeated the Cavs Wednesday to get a game over .500 at 21-20. The Clippers are 29-and-15 after losing to Charlotte Wednesday.
