Spartans Stay Perfect In Big Ten With Win Over Indiana
(East Lansing, MI) -- Gary Harris scored 20 of his game high 24 points in the second half to lead third-rated Michigan State past Indiana, 71-66 at the Breslin Center last night. The Spartans held Indiana to four free throws over a nearly seven minute stretch late in the game to overcome a five point deficit. Branden Dawson contributed 13 points and nine rebounds in the win. Yogi Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 19 points. Michigan State improved to 18-1 and 7-0 in the Big Ten. Indiana fell to 12-7 and 2-4 in the conference.
No. 19 Pitt Crushes Clemson
(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Talib Zanna dropped in a game-high 22 points as 19th-ranked Pittsburgh crushed Clemson 76-43 at the Petersen Events Center. Lamar Patterson netted 13 points and Cameron Wright had 12 for the Panthers, who improved to 17-2 on the season and 5-1 in the ACC. Pitt is at Maryland Saturday.

Texas A&M fell 68-51 at 14th-ranked Kentucky.
Illinois Meets Ohio State Thursday
(Columbus, OH) -- Illinois hits the road Thursday for a matchup with 15th-ranked Ohio State in Columbus. The Fighting Illini are 13-6 with a 2-4 Big Ten record. The Buckeyes fell to 15-4 with an equal 2-4 conference mark after being upset by Nebraska Monday night in Lincoln.

In local college hoops action last night, Northwestern picked up a 63-60 double-overtime win over Purdue. Elsewhere, Notre Dame lost 76-74 at Florida State. Tonight, UIC hosts Cleveland State while Northern Illinois is at Toledo. DePaul returns to action Saturday at Seton Hall.
