Timberwolves Pound On Sixers

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Kevin Love posted 26 points and seven rebounds to lead the Timberwolves in a 126-95 rout of the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. Kevin Martin added 18 points while Nikola Pekovic netted 16 points with 14 boards. Corey Brewer chipped in 15 points as Minnesota won its fourth game in six outings. Thaddeus Young led Philadelphia with 20 points while James Anderson chimed in with 14 points and seven boards off the bench. Michael Carter-Williams and Evan Turner each had 13 points as the Sixers saw a four-game win streak end.


Nets Sink Hawks

(Brooklyn, NY) -- Joe Johnson led all scorers with 23 points to help the Nets pull out a 91-86 win against the Hawks at the Barclays Center. Mirza Teletovic sunk four threes on his way to 16 points off the bench, while Alan Anderson added 14. Brooklyn was without Deron Williams, who sat with a sprained left ankle. The Nets have won three in-a-row. Jeff Teague and Paul Milsap each posted 16 points in the loss. Atlanta shot 39-percent from the floor and turned the ball over 18 times. The Hawks have lost three in-a-row.


Clippers Crush Magic

(Los Angeles, CA) -- DeAndre Jordan notched 14 points and 17 rebounds as the Clippers crushed the Magic 101-81 at STAPLES Center. Darren Collison netted a team-high 21 points, while Blake Griffin recorded 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Clippers, who have won three of their last four. Jamal Crawford chipped in with 13 points, eight helpers and five boards in the victory. Victor Oladipo and Maurice Harkless scored 22 points apiece in Orlando's fourth straight loss. Arron Afflalo added 12 points in defeat.


Bulls Deal Deng To Cavs

The Bulls have traded forward Luol Deng to the Cavaliers for center Andrew Bynum, three future draft picks and the right to swap first round picks in 2015.  Deng is a free agent this summer. The Bulls are expected to waive Bynum and save money by today's 4 p.m. deadline.

The Bulls play host to the surprising Phoenix Suns tonight at the United Center. Chicago improved to 14-18 with Saturday's home victory over the Hawks.  Phoenix is 20-and-12 on the season following a win over Milwaukee Saturday. Tip is set for 7 p.m.
