EHS Frosh/Soph Boys Claim Wins

Effingham High School hosted Vandalia Saturday in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action and picked up two victories.
The Hearts won the freshman contest 44-25. EHS jumped out to a 27-9 halftime lead and never looked back. Jacob Donaldson scored 14 and Brent Beals 13.
In the sophomore game, the Hearts won 45-18. Just like the freshmen, the sophomores stepped out to a 25-9 first half lead. Joe Nieman tallied 10 for the winners while Brady Jackson chipped in with nine. Eight total players scored.
