Dieterich Tournament Pairings Released

Pairings were released for both the boys and girls Dieterich Holiday Basketball Tournaments.

Teams entered in the boys Dieterich Tournament include, in Pool A, Dieterich, North Clay (Louisville), Centralia Christ Our Rock and Arcola and in Pool B, Newton, Beecher City, Oblong and Red Hill (Bridgeport). The tournament opens Thursday at 11:30 a.m. and will have six games both Thursday and Friday.

Saturday's games begin at 1 p.m. with the seventh-place game followed at 2:30 p.m. by the fifth-place game, at 4 p.m. by the third-place game and at 8 p.m. by the championship.

The girls tournament also opens Thursday, December 26 with teams in Pool A, Dieterich, Newton, South Central and Arcola and in Pool B, North Clay, Brownstown/St. Elmo, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Casey-Westfield.

There will be six games Thursday and Friday in pool play. Saturday's finals are scheduled for 1 p.m., seventh-place, 2:30 p.m., fifth-place, 4 p.m., third-place and 6 p.m., championship.
