Bucks Edge Struggling Bulls
(Chicago, IL) -- John Henson scored 25 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked six shots to lead the Bucks to a 78-74 win over the Bulls at the United Center. Brandon Knight added 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Bucks won their second game in the past three but are only 5-16. The Bulls were without injured center Joakim Noah, who has a thigh bruise. Mike Dunleavy led the way with 24 points and Carlos Boozer totaled 21 points and 12 rebounds. Chicago has lost four of its last five and is 8-11.
Cavaliers Down Knicks
(Cleveland, OH) -- Kyrie Irving exploded for 37 points and dished 11 assists to lead the Cavaliers in a 109-94 win over the Knicks at Quicken Loans Arena. Jarrett Jack added 17 points off the bench while Tristan Thompson poured in 12 points with nine rebounds. Cleveland has won four out of five to move to 8-13. Carmelo Anthony had 29 points and eight rebounds to lead New York in defeat. Amar'e Stoudemire netted 15 points off the bench but the Knicks lost their second straight and dipped to 5-15.
Spurs Rout Raptors
(Toronto, Ontario) -- Manu Ginobili led a balanced attack with 16 points, nine assists and five rebounds in the Spurs' 116-103 rout of the Raptors in Toronto. Tony Parker scored 15 points, while Tim Duncan, Danny Green and Aron Baynes added 14 apiece for San Antonio, which has alternated wins and losses over its last seven games. Marco Belinelli netted 12 points and Patty Mills had 11 in the victory. Amir Johnson posted 19 points and nine boards for the Raptors, who have dropped six of their last seven. DeMar DeRozan also had 19 points in the setback.
Pacers Use Big Second Half To Beat Heat
(Indianapolis, IN) -- Roy Hibbert scored a game-high 24 points as the Pacers used a big second half to beat the Heat 90-84 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Indiana outscored Miami 50-37 after the break to remain perfect at home at 10-0. David West and Paul George added 17 points apiece for the Pacers, who are an NBA-best 19-3 overall. Lance Stephenson donated 12 points, six rebounds and five assists in the victory. LeBron James racked up 17 points, 14 boards and six helpers for Miami, which fell to 16-and-6 with its third loss in five games. Dwyane Wade also had 17 points to go with six boards and six assists in defeat.
Nets Topple Celtics
(Brooklyn, NY) -- Deron Williams led the way with 25 points and Brook Lopez added 24 as the Nets stuffed the Celtics 104-96 at the Barclays Center. Williams played his first game since suffering an sprained ankle on November 15. Kevin Garnett and Andray Blatche chipped in 11 points and nine rebounds each in the win. The Nets have their first two-game winning streak of the season and are 7-14. Avery Bradley led the Celtics with 22 points and Jeff Green added 19. Boston saw its three-game winning streak came to an end but still leads the Atlantic Division at 10-13.
Durant, Thunder Handle Hawks
(Atlanta, GA) -- Kevin Durant notched 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to lead the Thunder past the Hawks 101-92 at Philips Arena. Russell Westbrook just missed a triple-double with 14 points, 11 assists and nine boards for OKC, which has won three straight and 11 of its last 12 overall. Serge Ibaka added 19 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Paul Millsap recorded 23 points and 12 boards for the Hawks, who fell to 11-11 with their third loss in five games. Jeff Teague and Shelvin Mack both added 17 points in defeat.
Wolves Rout Pistons
(Auburn Hills, MI) -- Kevin Love scored 26 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and handed out seven assists to lead the Timberwolves to a 121-94 rout of the Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Ricky Rubio added 15 points and nine assists and Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic added 18 points each. The Wolves totaled 12 steals and made 11 three-pointers on their way to ending a short two-game losing streak. They are 10-11. Brandon Jennings led Detroit with 20 points and seven assists. Josh Smith added 17 points but the Pistons dropped to 10-12 with their second straight loss.
Suns Slip Past Lakers In LA
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Goran Dragic matched his season-high with 31 points as the Suns slipped past the Lakers 114-108 at STAPLES Center. Marcus Morris netted 22 points off the bench and Eric Bledsoe recorded 18 points and nine assists for Phoenix, which improved to 12-and-9 with its third straight win. Markieff Morris added 15 points and seven boards off the bench in the victory. Kobe Bryant scored 20 points in his second game of the season for the Lakers, who have lost three-of-four to dip under the .500 mark at 10-11. Pau Gasol chipped in with 19 points in defeat.
