Pelicans Outlast Bulls In Three OT's
(Chicago, IL) -- Jrue Holiday completed an "and-one" three-point play with under three seconds to left in triple-overtime to lift the Pelicans to a 131-128 win over the Bulls at the United Center. Holiday finished with 19 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds while Ryan Anderson dropped in a career-high 36 points for New Orleans. Eric Gordon added 23 points and seven rebounds while Jason Smith had 12 points and 14 boards. The Pelicans have won three in-a-row and six out of eight. Luol Deng had a game-high 37 points with eight rebounds and seven assists for Chicago while Taj Gibson added 26 points and 14 boards. Mike Dunleavy hit 6-of-10 three-pointers on his way to 23 points while Joakim Noah scored 19 points with 10 rebounds as the Bulls lost their sixth in seven games.
Ariza Leads Wizards Past Magic
(Washington, DC) -- Trevor Ariza hit all four three-pointers he tried on his way to 24 points as the Wizards downed the Magic 98-80 at the Verizon Center. Ariza added six rebounds while John Wall posted 16 points and 13 assists in the win. Nene notched 14 points and six boards for Washington, which has won five out of six. Arron Afflalo had 21 points and five rebounds for Orlando while Maurice Harkless dropped in 16 points off the bench. Nikola Vucevic had 10 points and eight boards for the Magic, who have dropped two straight and six out of eight.
Duncan Lifts Spurs Past Hawks
(San Antonio, TX) -- Tim Duncan nailed a 16-foot jumper with 0.4-seconds left to lift the Spurs past the Hawks 102-100 at AT&T Center. Duncan finished with game-high's of 23 points and 21 rebounds for the Spurs, who improved to 15-3 on the year. Boris Diaw donated 16 points off the bench and Tony Parker posted 15 points and seven assists in the victory. Jeff Teague made a game-tying three-pointer with 4.7-seconds left for Atlanta, which has lost five-of-six. Teague tallied 19 points, Al Horford had 18 and Paul Millsap posted 15 points and 14 boards in defeat.
Jazz Stun Rockets
(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Gordon Hayward scored 29 points to lead the Jazz to a 109-103 win over the Rockets at EnergySolutions Arena. Trey Burke and Alec Burks added 21 points apiece for the Jazz, who have won three of their last four games to improve to 4-15. Derrick Favors donated 14 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. James Harden dropped in a game-high 37 points for Houston, which had its five-game winning streak snapped. Dwight Howard recorded 15 points and nine boards in defeat.
Trail Blazers Outlast Pacers
(Portland, OR) -- LaMarcus Aldridge posted 28 points and ten rebounds to led the Trail Blazers in a 106-102 win over the Pacers in Portland. Damian Lillard added 26 points and six boards while Wesley Matthews chipped in 15 points for the Blazers. Portland has won 13 out of 14 games to move to 15-and-3 on the year. Paul George exploded for a game-high 43 points while Roy Hibbert poured in 16 points with 14 boards for Indiana. David West added 12 points with eight rebounds and five assists as the Pacers saw a seven-game winning streak end and fell to 16-2.
