Illinois Hoopsters Face Georgia Tech Tuesday

(Atlanta, GA) -- Illinois' basketball team heads south to Atlanta for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge Tuesday. The Fighting Illini will battle Georgia Tech in the annual event. After a win over IPFW on Friday, Illinois is 7-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets are 5-3 on the year.

In local college basketball action Sunday, DePaul notched a 93-81 win over Oregon State. The Blue Demons host Arizona State Friday. Also Sunday, Notre Dame beat Cornell 101-67.  The Irish play at Iowa Tuesday. Northwestern is back in action Wednesday at NC State.
