CUMBERLAND TOURNAMENT
Four games were contested at the Cumberland Boys Basketball Tournament Tuesday evening. Palestine-Hutsonville defeated Cumbelrland 54-43, Oblong won over Martinsville 75-23, Chrisman downed Dieterich 48-35 and Newton beat Neoga 50-41.
Palestine-Hutsonville 54, Cumberland 43
The Pirates led 27-15 at halftime but Palestine-Hutsonville came back with a 33-16 second half run to pull out the victory.
Alspach led the winners with 20 points while Williams added 17. Cumberland was led by Brandon Shaon with 14 points.

Chrisman 48, Dieterich 35
Chrisman picked up a 48-35 victory over Dieterich. Chrisman held a 20-10 first half lead and led 35-17 going into the final quarter.
Porter led the winners with 17 while Bolen tallied 10. Dieterich was led by A. Bohnhoff with 10 points.

Neoga led 13-10 after one quarter but Newton came roaring back with a 19-2 second period run to lead 29-15 at halftime and never looked back.
The Eagles had one player hit double figures, Luke Stone with 21. Stone connected on five field goals and was 11 of 14 at the line.
Neoga was led by Jake Baker with 15. Baker hit six field goals including three trifectas.

MULBERRY GROVE TOURNAMENT
Three games were contested Tuesday evening at the Mulberry Grove Tournament. Ramsey defeated Sandoval 60-55 while Odin bounced Cowden-Herrick 94-55 and Patoka downed Mulberry Grove 71-33.

Odin struck quickly, taking a 35-19 opening quarter lead and never looked back in this one.
Only one player hit double digits for the Hornets. Colton Burrus connected on four of eight field goals, knocked down three trifectas and put in two free throws for 19 points.
The Hornets are back in action tonight taking on host Mulberry Grove at 8:15.
