Effingham Junior High School's seventh-grade squad ran its record to 4-0 with a road victory over Robinson Nuttall while the eighth-grade team is now 3-1.
In seventh-grade play, Effingham jumped out to an 18-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back, cruising to a 44-23 final. Landon Wolfe finished with 18 points and Dylan Bushur 10.
In eighth-grade action, Hull tallied 20 and Sandifer 10 as the Mustangs captured a 45-25 victory. Sandifer led the team in steals with six while Hull added five. Hull led in rebounds with 11, Levitt had seven and Hill six.

At Effingham
Effingham St. Anthony bounced Neoga 38-2 in seventh-grade play to improve to 5-0 on the season.
Blanchette tallied 12 for the Bullpups who took a 26-0 first half lead.
In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony was a 41-35 winner. Jack Nuxoll led the winners with 16 while Alex Beesley chipped in with 11. The Bullpups remain undefeated at 5-0.

Altamont claimed two victories over Dieterich. Altamont won the seventh-grade game 34-31. Dieterich held a 20-18 lead going into the final quarter when Altamont came back with a 16-11 run for the victory.
Alek Biggs tallied 24 for the winners. Brummer led Dieterich with 12.
In eighth-grade action, Altamont claimed a 45-41 win. Dieterich held a 26-22 halftime lead but Altamont came back with a 14-2 third period run. Runge led the winners with 17 while Brown added 12. Dieterich was led by Higgs with 15, Radloff with 12 and Campton with 11.

Stewardson-Strasburg picked up two wins over Okaw Valley. Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade game 28-17 to improve to 2-3.
A. Burton led the way with 15 points. Hagerman led Okaw Valley with 10.
In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras edged Okaw Valley 37-36. Okaw Valley held a 20-18 halftime lead but Stew-Stras came back to pull ahead 28-27 in the third period and held on for the win. Kessler scored 17 for the winners. Fritz had 14 and Drake 10 for Okaw Valley.
