EIU Blue Madness Scheduled October 30

CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois will kickoff the 2014 basketball season on Wednesday, Oct. 30 with BLUE MADNESS in Lantz Arena.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. with trick or treating for kids followed by the introduction of the men’s and women’s teams at 7:30 p.m. The night will include a costume contest for both kids and college students. During the night select fans will be invited to take part in on-court competitions with the Panther basketball teams and end the night with autographs.

The event is free and all kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and get a jump start on collecting candy.
