Effingham Sacred Heart split wins with Olney St. Joseph in girls junior high basketball competition Monday evening.
The Shamrocks won the seventh-grade contest 20-15 behind Webster's 10 points. Sacred Heart tallied all 20 of its points by halftime and did not score in the second half. But St. Joseph could only tally seven points in the second half after trailing 20-8 at halftime.
In eighth-grade play, Olney St. Joe edged the Shamrocks 31-29. Luna tallied 22 for the winners. Carie led Sacred Heart with 12 points.

At Dieterich
Effingham St. Anthony and Dieterich were both winners Monday evening. The Bullpups took the seventh-grade game 42-10. Dieterich was led by Jenna Hayes and Andrea Bierman with four points each.
In eighth-grade play, Dieterich won 35-24. Anna Shadle led the winners with 19 points.
There were no statistics listed for St. Anthony.
At Cowden
Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick picked up two victories over Mulberry Grove in action Monday evening.
BCCH won the seventh-grade contest 18-5 to improve to 6-2 overall. BCCH tallied an 18-0 first half lead, holding Mulberry Grove scoreless over the first three quarters. Becca Morgason led the winners with six points.
In eighth-grade action, BCCH won 30-15. BCCH led 20-13 going into the final quarter then held Mulberry Grove scoreless.
BCCH had even scoring as Tabitha Endsley, Taylor Oldham and CLaire Gardner had six points each. The winners improve to 2-6.
BCCH will be back in action Wednesday at Dieterich in the Seventh-Grade National Trail Conference Tournament. The schedule for the tournament includes:

At Sullivan
Teutopolis picked up two wins over Sullivan. T-town was a 30-10 winner in the seventh-grade contest led by Claire Bushur with eight points. Morgan Mette chipped in with six and eight other players had two points each. T-town is now 7-2.
In the eighth-grade game, T-town won 22-12, leading 11-10 at halftime then outscoring Sullivan 11-2 on the second half. Macy Michels scored nine to lead the way. T-town improves to 5-4 on the season.
