(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota Timberwolves rookie forward Shabazz Muhammad has been sent home from the NBA's Rookie Transition Program. "USA Today" reports Muhammad violated a rule by bringing a female guest to his hotel room on Tuesday night.

He will be fined for the incident and has to return next summer to complete the program with the 2014 draft class. The T'wolves selected Muhammad 14th overall in the draft out of UCLA.
