Normal Metcalf edged out to a 5-4 opening quarter lead then took off with a 12-6 second period to lead 17-10 at halftime.
Metcalf continued on with a 13-9 third quarter to move into a 30-19 lead. Stew-Stras came back with a 22-15 final quarter run but it wasn't enough.
Johnny Richter led the way for Stew-Stras with 14 points on five field goals and four of six at the line. Also in double figures was Noah Friese with 11. Adam Pruemer and Jacob Howe chipped in with eight points each.
Leading Normal Metcalf was Cannon Thacker with 30 points on nine field goals, three from beyond the arc, and nine of 10 at the line. Ellis McClelland finished with 10.
Stew-Stras ended the season with a 23-2 record. Normal Metcalf finished at 22-4.
Riverdale Washington was the winner over Carthage, 35-23 in the third place contest.

Effingham Sacred Heart finished fourth in the Class 7-1A State Tournament at Normal Kingsley Junior High School Thursday.
The Shamrocks took a 6-2 lead on Pontiac St. Mary's in the opening quarter. But St. Mary's came back with a 27-10 second period to lead 29-16 at halftime.
The two teams played to a 14-14 third quarter before the Shamrocks mounted an 11-7 final quarter run only to fall 50-41.
Sacred Heart was led by Gabe Traub with 22 points on 10 field goals and two of six at the line. Also in double figures was Bryce Hayes with 10 points while Lucas McDevitt added nine.
Pontiac St. Mary's was led by Daxell Collins with 13 while Graham Mennenga and Champ Daily ended with 11 each.
In the championship game, Lincoln West Lincoln-Broadwell was a 57-33 winner over Champaign Holy Cross.
