CORL Downs South Central In Boys Basketball

FARINA -- Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran handed South Central a 63-43 boys high school basketball loss Wednesday evening.

South Central held a 13-10 opening quarter lead as Brody Markley put in seven points and Westin Neilson hit a three-pointer.

But CORL came back with a 17-9 second period run to lead 27-22 at halftime. Bazile went on a run, scoring on five baskets, one a three-pointer and hit a free throw for 12 of his team's 17 points.

CORL continued on in the third quarter with a 13-9 run and finished out with a 23-12 final quarter.

Bazile tallied 34 points for the winners on 14 field goals and five of five at the line.

South Central's Markley hit 11 field goals, one a three-pointer, and was three of five at the line for 26 points.
