T-town, N. Clay, C'land Win, EHS, Altamont Fall In Saturday Boys Basketball

ROBINSON -- Tetuopolis High School traveled to Robinson and captured an 87-55 victory in boys basketball play Saturday.
The Wooden Shoes ran out to a 20-10 opening quarter lead and led 50-25 at halftime.
Four players hit double figures for the Shoes. Brody Thoele connected on five field goals, one from three-point range, and was one of one at the line for 12 points. Mick Niebrugge hit six field goals, also for 12 points. Gavin Addis and Landyn Thoele scored 10 each.
In the junior varsity contest, T-town was a 76-25 winner, running out to a 32-8 first quarter lead.
L. Thoele scored 22 points on 10 field goals and two of two at the line. Gavin Buening scored 12 and Jake Probst added 11.

At Louisville
North Clay (Louisville) downed Patoka, 87-42.
The Cardinals also claimed the junior varsity contest, 63-28.
At Toledo
Cumberland had three players finish in double figures in a 60-47 victory over Fairfield Friday.
The Pirates edged out to a 16-15 opening quarter lead as Cameron Roedl scored six and Chase Stewart hit a three-pointer.
But Fairfield came back with a 14-12 second quarter to pull ahead 29-28 at halftime. Zack Harmon kept the Pirates in the contest with six points.
Cumberland then went on a 15-10 third quarter run to pull ahead 45-39 and finished with a 17-8 final period.
Roedl led the way with 17 points on six field goals, three from beyond the arc, and two of four at the line. Harmon added 15 and Stewart 12.

Mahomet-Seymour played host to Effingham and was a 73-37 winner Saturday.
The Bulldogs took an 18-9 opening quarter lead and led 34-15 at halftime.
The Hearts never could get going and Mahomet-Seymour finished with a 39-22 second half run.
The Hearts were led by Jenner Pals with 14 points on four field goals, two from three-point range, and four of four at the line.
The Bulldogs were led by Jackson Golden and Lucas Dyer with 11 points each.

Lawrenceville edged Altamont, 36-35 Saturday.
Altamont ran out to an 18-8 opening quarter lead as Kade Milleville connected for six points while Cooper McManaway and Zaine Miller had five each.
The Indians led 23-16 at halftime. But Lawrenceville started a comeback with a 7-4 third quarter to move within 27-23 and then went on a 13-8 run to pull out the one point victory.
Pargin led Lawrenceville with 18 points while Cessna added 11.
Altamont was led by McManaway and Milleville with eight points each. McManaway hit four field goals, one a three-pointer, while Milleville connected on two field goals, one from beyond the arc, and was three of four at the line.
