Dayana Haslett led the way for the Bombers. She scored 10 of the team's 16 opening quarter points and finished with 23 for the contest. She hit 10 field goals, three of those from beyond the arc. The biggest news of the evening, Haslett scored her 1,000th career point that came on her second basket of the third quarter.
Also in douible figures were Peyton Barker with 14 and Presley Williams with 12.
The Bombers ripped out to a 16-4 opening quarter lead and led 33-11 at halftime and 50-23 in the third quarter.
During the evening, the Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers Sports Hall of Fame Committee announced the inductees for the 2025 Inaugural Ceremony. This took place between the junior varsity and varsity high school games.
Those included Bob Berry, Class of 1949, Doug Hopkins, Class of 1957, Lyle Doehring Class, of 1965, David Miller, Class of 1966, Rich Feezel, Class of 1967, Jvee Harner, Class of 1972, David Scott, Class of 1980, Curtis Schwarm, Class of 1994, Jamie Behrends, Class of 1994, Claire Wilhour, Class of 2020, Coach Charles Finfrock 1968-1992, Coach Bob Page 1974-2006, 1965-1966 boys basketball team, 1993-1994 boys basketball team and 1993-1994 baseball team.
Mount Olive was led by Bailey with 12 points.
BSE also claimed the junior varsity contest, 49-17.
Audria Logue led the way with 16 points while Danika Ramsey and Cami Haslett added nine each.

At Mattoon
Teutopolis keeps rolling along. The Wooden Shoes handed Mattoon a 36-28 loss Thursday evening.
The Shoes edged out to an 8-5 opening quarter lead as four players scored a basket each.
Mattoon came back with the exact 8-5 tally in the second quarter to tie the score at 13-13 at halftime.
Coach Laurie Thompson's crew then had a 23-15 second half for the victory.
Chloe Probst was the lone player scoring in double figures with 11 on four field goals and three of four at the line. Probst also led in rebounds with 10.
Jersey Gaddis led in steals with four and assists with two. Kelsey Niemerg had three steals as the Shoes finished with 13 steals.
Mattoon was led by Ava Larson with 15 points.

At Charleston
Neoga took the early lead and went on for a 57-49 victory over Charleston Thursday evening.
The Indians edged out to a 14-11 opening quarter lead and led 25-24 at halftime.
Neoga then had a 32-25 second half run.
Brynn Richards connected on nine field goals and was seven of 12 at the line for 27 points. Atalie Osborn hit eight field goals and was four of four at the line for 20.
Neoga finished connecting on 15 of 22 at the line for 68.1 percent.
Charleston was led by Brie Tomlinson with 22 points and Sadie Phillips with 10.
Neoga improved to 8-9 on the season and is scheduled to play Saturday hosting Casey-Westfield.
The Indians also claimed the junior varsity contest, 41-36.

Dieterich edged out to a 17-11 opening quarter lead and went on to down Ramsey, 54-26 Thursday evening.
The Maroons held a 32-15 halftime lead and had a 22-11 third quarter run.
Three players finished in double digits for the Maroons. Addison Miller led the way with 18 points on six field goals, one a three-pointer and three of four at the line. Brittney Niemerg tallied 13 and Sammi Goebel added 10.
Miller and Goebel finished with six rebounds each. Ella Kreke had three assists. Miller tallied seven steals.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City tallied a 45-36 win over Arthur Okaw Christian Thursday evening.
Macee Rodman scored 28 points to lead the winners. Rodman connected on 10 field goals, three of those three-pointers, and five of six at the line. Rodman also led in rebounds with 10 and steals with five..
Haley Doty had four assists and four steals. Rodman also had five steals. Carissa Wakefield led in blocked shots with three.
