Sacred Heart was a winner in the seventh-grade contest, 47-18.
The Shamrocks held a 19-12 halftime lead and had an 18-6 third quarter run.
Gabe Traub led the way with 25 points while Bryce Hayes added eight.
St. Thomas was led by Beals and Gier with eight each.
In the eighth-grade game, St. Thomas was a 38-31 winner.
The Shamrocks held a 21-18 halftime lead but St. Thomas came back with an 11-6 third quarter to lead 29-27 and finished with a 9-4 final quarter.
G. Bierman led with 11 points while Dillon Earnst and Brooks Herman had eight each.
Sacred Heart was led by Mason Karolewicz with 15.

At Taylorville
Effingham St. Anthony claimed two victories over Taylorville in Monday evening play.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade encounter, 32-23. P. Phillips got St. Anthony off in the right direction with six of the Bullpups 10 points in the opening quarter. St. Anthony then moved ahead by a 25-9 tally at halftime. B. Schultz and E. Bales scored five points each, both hitting a three-pointer and a regular basket.
Phillips finished withi 12 points to lead the Bullpups.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony edged Taylorville, 42-40.
The Bullpups held a 10-8 opening quarter lead but Taylorville came back to lead 24-20 at halftime.
St. Anthony then had a 12-6 third quarter run and held on for the win.
Verdeyen scored 15, C. Hoene 12 and C. Bierman 11 for the winners.

At Effingham
Effingham captured two victories over Pana Sacred Heart Monday evening.
The Mustangs won the seventh-grade game easily, 54-17. Effingham took a 34-13 halftime lead.
Deek Thompson scored 19 for the winners while Calvin Beck added nine.
In eighth-grade action, Effingham was a 53-30 winner. The Mustangs took a 27-16 halftime lead and had a 26-14 second half.
Joel Flack tallied 21 points on nine field goals, three from three-point range.

Teutopolis had two very different games but picked up victories in both Monday evening.
The seventh-grade Wooden Shoes edged Casey-Westfield, 13-11. T-town took a 12-9 opening half lead then scored only one point in the second half.
Mason Giles tallied 11 for the winners.
In eighth-grade action, T-town had a big scoring contest for a 54-13 win.
T-town held a 12-3 opening quarter lead and led 33-7 at halftime.
S. Probst scored 12 for the Shoes.

At Sullivan
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Sullivan claimed a victory each in Monday evening play.
Windsor/Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade game, 42-21 by taking a 26-10 halftime lead and outscoring Sullivan 10-4 in the third quarter.
Pruemer led with 16 points while Worman added 10 as the seventh-graders remained unbeaten at 14-0.
In eighth-grade play, Sullivan won 50-28.
Stew-Stras held a 10-6 opening quarter lead but Sullivan moved ahead 16-14 at halftime then had a 34-14 second half.
Kaufman led Stew-Stras with 11 points as the team dropped to 10-3.
Stew-Stras is back in action tonight at Altamont.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was a winner over Altamont Lutheran Interparish in both seventh- and eighth-grade action Monday.
CHBC won the seventh-grade contest, 37-33. CHBC broke an 8-8 opening quarter tie with a 9-4 second quarter. But Altamont Lutheran came back to move ahead in the third quarter by a 26-25 count. CHBC then had a 12-7 final period run.
Drake Thull scored 17 for the winners.
Altamont Lutheran was led by Arend and Grasher with nine each.
In the eighth-grade game, CHBC claimed a 40-37 win. Zach Bennett scored 16 for the winners.
ALIS was led by Hunt with 16 and Pals with 11.

Neoga won both the seventh- and eighth-grade games over Windsor Monday evening.
Neoga captured the seventh-grade contest 24-15. Neoga held a 13-8 halftime lead.
Baylor Matusas scored nine and Liam Kenworhty eight for the winners.
Nadolny led Windsor with all 15 points.
In the eighth-grade contest, Neoga won 42-38. Neoga held a 36-18 halftime lead. Windsor came back with a 20-16 second half only to fall short.
Brody Strobl scored 21 and Benji Strobl 14 for the winners.
Hartman led Windsor with 19 while Briar Rincker added 11.

At Martinsville
Jasper County picked up two victories over Martinsville in Monday evening play.
Jasper County won the seventh-grade contest 28-5, taking a14-3 halftime lead.
Maverik Horner led the way with 13 points. Dawson Williams and Alex Keller were the top rebounders. Horner was the top defender and top passer. The team improved to 4-9.
In eighth-grade play, Jasper County edged Martinsvile, 49-47.
Jasper County led 18-14 at halftime and 35-25 going into the final quarter. Martinsville came back to tie the score at 37-37, sending the game into overtime. In the overtime period, Jasper County had a 12-10 run for the victory.
Cambell Ulm scored 17 and Branden Emmerich 11 for the winners. Top rebounder was Hank Huber with the top defender Emmerich and top passer Chase Kistner.
Jasper County improved to 7-6 on the season.

Dieteirch and Oblong split victories Monday evening.
Dieterich claimed the seventh-grade contest, 41-14.
The winners held an 11-4 opening quarter lead as Uthell knocked in three baskets. Niemerg took over in the second period scoring six points as Dieterich led 26-10 at halftime.
Uthell finished with 16 points in the win on seven field goals, one a three-pointer, and one of two at the line.
In the eighth-grade contest, Oblong captured a 52-33 victory.
Oblong stepped out to a 15-4 opening quarter lead and led 35-11 at halftime.
Dieterich was led by Goeckner with 10 points.
