The Bulldogs took an 11-7 opening quarter lead. Ryan Schmidt and Brock Fearday connected for four points each.
The lead went to 26-17 at halftime as Keenan Griffith scored on three baskets, one a three-pointer, for seven.
St. Anthony came out to run off to a 23-12 third period and finished out with the 21-point victory.
Schmidt scored 11 points and Fearday seven in the run. St. Anthony then had a 17-16 fnal quarter.
The Bulldogs had three players score in double figures. Schmidt hit seven field goals, one a three-pointer, and six of eight at the line for 21 points. Also in double digits were B. Fearday with 15 and Griffith with 10.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by Lowell Wilhour with 19 on eight field goals, one from three-point land, and two of three at the line. Vadim Plum scored 11.
In the junior varsity contest, St. Anthony claimed a 67-28 win. Miles Waldhoff scored 13, Gabe Looman 12, Will Vonderheide 11 and Will Bierman 11.
Leading St. Elmo/Brownstown was Keelan Speagle with six.

At Effingham
Mahomet-Seymour came calling and edged Effingham, 41-37 in an Apollo Conference contest Friday heard on 979XFM.
The Bulldogs took a 14-10 opening quarter lead by hitting three from beyond the arc.
EHS came back with an 11-6 second period to pull ahead 21-20 at halftime. Cole Phillips scored six points and KJ Kellams connected on a three-pointer.
But Mahomet-Seymour came back with a 12-5 third quarter run to lead 32-26 going into the final period.
Although the Hearts came back with an 11-9 run it was not enough.
Phillips was the lone player in double figures with 16 on eight field goals. Jake Niebrugge added nine.
Effingham dropped to 2-1 in the conference, 3-6 overall.

At Cowden
Dieterich held the opening quarter lead and went on for a 58-42 victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City as two National Trail Conference teams met Friday evening.
The Maroons edged out to a 9-6 first quarter lead as Lucas Westendorf scored four. The lead then went to 26-11 at halftime with a 17-5 run. Landen Keck hit five free throws and a basket for seven points in the quarter, reaching 10 by halftime.
CHBC came back with a 15-12 third quarter as Wyatt Rueff hit two baskets and was six of seven at the line for 10 in the quarter.
But Dieterich got back on track with a 20-16 final period.
Keck led the way for the Maroons with eight field goals and seven of eight at the line for 23 points. Westendorf finished with 10 points on four field goals and two of four at the line.
The Bobcats were led by Rueff with eight field goals, one a three-pointer, and nine of 12 at the line for 28 points.
At Cowden

At Farina
South Central tallied a two-point victory over National Trail Conference opponent Altamont Friday, 40-38.
The Cougars edged out to a 10-8 opening quarter lead as Westin Neilson connected on two three-pointers and Seth Bergmann with four.
But Altamont came back with an 8-2 second period as Cooper McManaway hit a three-pointer and a free throw while Kade Milleville added two baskets for a 16-12 halftime lead.
South Central regrouped as Neilson went on a run. He hit a three-pointer, three regular baskets and two free throws for 11 of his team's 13 points. The Cougars held a 25-22 lead going into the final quarter.
Altamont came back again, this time on Zaine Miller's two three-pointers, a regular basket and a free throw for nine points, but this time, South Central hung on for the win.
Brody Markley, who had scored only one basket in the third quarter, went to work with seven points while Callaway Smith, also had seven points as the Cougars held on.
Neilson finished with 17 points on six baskets, three from beyond the arc, and two of four at the line. Markley finshed with nine.
Altamont was led by Miller with 12 points on four baskets, two from three-point range, and two free throws. Mcanaway added 11.
Altamont won both the junior varsity and freshman/sophomore games.

At Strasburg
Windsor/;Stewardson-Strasburg pulled out a 58-56 non-conference win over Shelbyville Friday evening.
The two teams played to a 15-15 opening quarter tie before Windsor/Stew-Stras edged ahead 29-28 at halftime.
The Hatchets had a 13-10 third quarter to lead 42-38. Shelbyville came back with an 18-16 final quarter only to fall short.
Three players scored in double figures for the winners. Jackson Gurgel led the way with eight field goals, two of those three-pointers, for 18. Brody Bible added 15 and Rylan Rincker 13.
Shelbyville was led by Jokisch with 22 and Beyers with 12.
Windsor/Stew-Stras improved to 4-4 on the season and is back in action Wednesday against Mulberry Grove at the St. Elmo/Brownstown Tournament.
Shelbyville won the junior varsity contest, 44-39.

North Clay (Louisville) picked up a 63-53 non-conference victory over Newton Friday evening.
The Cardinals held a 17-12 openibg quarter lead as Kade Atwood hit two baskets and two free throws for six points while Cody Zimdars connected on a three-pointer.
The lead went to 34-27 at halftime as Zimdars went on a tear, hitting another three-pointer, three regular baskets and three of four from the free throw line for 11 points. Atwood added five points.
North Clay had a 29-26 second half for the 10-point victory.
Zimdars led the way with 27 points on 10 field goals, one a three-pointer, and six of eight at the line. Atwood added 18.
Newton was led by Kody Bergbower with nine field goals, three from beyond the arc, and two of two at the line for 23 points. Hayden Mulvey added 15 points.
Newton won the junior varsity contest, 60-33 and the freshman/sophomore game, 51-18.

Neoga tallied a 39-23 non-conference win over Cumberland in Friday competition.
The Indians held a 15-9 opening quarter lead as Luke Keller connected on two three-pointers and was two of two at the line. Grady Haarman added a three-pointer.
But the Pirates came back to hold Neoga scoreless in the second quarter to pull within 15-13 at halftime. Zack Harmon scored four points.
Neoga had a 9-5 third quarter run and put the contest away with a 15-5 final period. Landon Titus hit two three-pointers in the third quarter and finished with three more in the final period along with two free throws for 11 of his team's 15 points.
Titus tallied 19 for the game on six field goals, five from three-point range, and two of four at the line. Also in double figures was Keller with 10.
Cumberland was led by Harmon with 10 on five field goals.

Teutopolis fell victim to Bloomington Central Catholic, 56-49 in Friday evening action.
The Wooden Shoes held a 13-11 opening quarter lead but Central Catholic came back with a 12-9 second quarter to lead 23-22 at halftime.
Central Catholic then had a 15-14 third quarter edge and finished wtih an 18-13 final period.
Alex Kremer led the Shoes with 13 points on four field goals, one a three-pointer and two of two at the line. Also in double figures were Gavin Addis with 11 and Mick Niebrugge with 10.
In junior varsity play, T-town pounded Central Catholic, 63-28.
Gavin Buening led the way with 15 points.
