Altamont Defeats St. Teresa In Regular Season Boys Game

ALTAMONT -- Altamont High School handed Decatur St. Teresa a 64-45 loss in a regular season non-conference boys basketball game Tuesday evening.

The Indians stepped out to a 16-12 opening quarter lead as Kade Milleville connected on two three-pointers and a free throw for seven points while Ben Roedl hit three baskets for six.

The Indians lead went to 35-19 at halftime. Zaine Miller scored seven points on two regular baskets and a three-pointer. Cooper McManaway hit a three-pointer.

Altamont continued on with a 16-13 third period. Milleville hit three baskets for six points. The Indians finished hitting seven free throws in the final quarter.

Milleville led the way with 18 points on six field goals, two from three-point range, and four of five at the line. Ben Roedl added 15 and Miller 13.

In the junior varsity contest, Altamont claimed a 44-39 win. Jacob Johnson scored 16, Carson Milleville 11 and Blake Berg 10 for the winners.
