Teutopolis picked up two victories over Effingham in junior high girls basketball action Saturday.

The Wooden Shoes tallied an 11-2 opening quarter lead in the seventh-grade contest and led 25-6 at halftime. The Shoes went on for a 38-6 win to improve to 17-0.

Probst led the way for T-town with 15 points while Meyer added 10.

Effingham was led by Barnhart and Bierman with two each.

In the eighth-grade game, T-town claimed a 40-6 win by taking a 17-0 opening quarter lead.

Drees led the Shoes with 14 points while Kreke and Martin had six each.

The Mustangs were led by Martin with four.
