Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Junior High had a girls basketball game scheduled for Friday evening that was canceled but Dieterich stepped in and the two girls teams squared off.

 

Dieterich won the seventh-grade game, 13-10. Emery Bill led the way for the winners with nine points.

CHBC was led by Reese Vaughn with five as the team dropped to 5-2 on the season.

In eighth-grade action, Dieterich was a 26-11 winner. Bill finished with 10 points while Stortzum added seven for the winners.

CHBC was led by Sophie Zumbahlen with five points. CHBC dropped to 1-5 on the season.
