The Bulllpups won the seventh-grade encounter, 37-6
S. Semple tallied eight points and Huebner seven for the winners.
In eighth-grade play, St. Anthony was a 43-2 winners. Oblong scored its two points in the opening quarter.
The Bullpups held a 28-2 halftime lead. Stephens scored 14 for the winners while Barker added 10.

At Mahomet
Effingham traveled to Mahomet-Seymour and fell in both games Thursday evening.
Mahomet-Seymour was a 30-26 winner in the seventh-grade contest. The Mustangs held a 15-12 halftime lead but Mahomet-Seymour came back with a 10-4 second period run.
Cloie Bailey led Effingham with nine points.
In the eighth-grade contest, Mahomet-Seymour was a 31-11 winner. M-S took a 12-3 halftime lead and had a 10-3 third quarter run.
Effingham was led by April Martin with five points.

Dieterich claimed two victories over North Clay (Louisville) in Thursday action.
Dieterich took a 45-26 win in the seventh-grade game. Emery Bill tallied 10 points while eight other players scored for the winners.
Ava Benefiel was the top rebounder with four.
In the eighth-grade matchup, Dieterich won 41-30.
Two players hit double digits. Claire Faller led the way with 17 while Violet Iffert added 10.
Lexie Funneman pulled down 13 rebounds.
North Clay drops to 0-2 in the National Trail Conference, 0-4 overall and is back in action Tuesday against Sigel St. Michael.
