The New York Knicks are hoping to bring Metta World Peace home. After clearing waivers, Yahoo! Sports reports the Knicks are the favorites to sign the former Lakers forward. Los Angeles used the amnesty clause on World Peace. He would sign for a portion of their mini mid-level exception, but would still collect the money he was guaranteed from the Lakers as a supplement. The 33-year-old grew up in Queensbrige, New York and played his college ball at St. John's.
