NTC Downs LPC 110-103 At Central IL All-Star Game

The National Trail Conference All-Stars captured a victory over the LPC All-Stars.

The National Trail Conference defeated the Little Prairie Conference in the Central IL All-Star Boys Basketball Game, 110-103 Sunday.

The NTC moved into a 49-46 halftime lead. Effingham St. Anthony's Collin Westendorf connected on two three-pointers and two regular baskets to lead the NTC All-Stars with 10 points in that opening half. He came back with four regular baskets and a three-pointer in the second half for 11 points and earned the NTC Most Valuable Player award.

Westendorf finished with 21 points. Kaidyn Miller (Altamont) scored 12 points while Ethan Kuenstler  (North Clay), Caleb Gephart (Dieterich) and Max Koenig (St. Anthony) all scored 11 points each. 

Leading the LPC were Ethan Mahan (Argenta-Oreana) with 14 points, Tyson Moore (Cerro Gordo-Bement) and Chase Logue (Argenta-Oreana) scored 11 each and Brett Bushue (Sullivan) had 10. Mahan earned the LPC Most Valuable Player award.

The three-point champion was Jackson Miller of Arcola.
