Class 1A/2A Girls All-State Teams

Congratulations to Altamont's Grace Nelson, who was named to the Class 1A Illinois Media All-State Basketball First Team.

The senior got the second-most points of any 1A player, just behind Christopher senior Amiah Hargove. Other first team members are Alayna Kraus of Okawville, Gracie Furlong of Galena and Shelby Bowman of Biggsville West Central. Furlong is a junior; all others are seniors. 

The Class 1A second team includes St. Anthony senior Stacie Vonderheide

1A Honorable Mention honors went to St. Anthony's Nancy Ruholl.

In Class 2A, Teutopolis junior Chloe Probst received Honorable Mention honors.
