National Trail All-Conference Boys, Girls Basketball Teams Named

Brownstown/St. Elmo/s Tim Pasley was named the National Trail Conference Coach of the Year.

National Trail All-Conference boys and girls basketball teams have been named.

Named to the First Team for the girls were: Grace Nelson (Altamont), Stacie Vonderheide (St. Anthony), Lexi Seabaugh (Brownstown/St. Elmo), Dayana Haslett (Brownstown'St. Elmo), Nancy Ruholl (St. Anthony) and Macee Rodman (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City).

Altamont's Nelson was named the Most Valuable Player.

Named to the Second Team were Miley Britton (Dieterich), Miah Ballard (North Clay), Brynn Richards (Neoga), Ella Kinkelaar (Windsor/Stewarsdon-Strasburg), Taegan Webster (South Central) and Haylee Campbell (Neoga).

Honorable Mention went to Peyton Osteen (Altamont), Ruby Stuckemeyer (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Estella Meinhart (Dieterich), Allison Sampson (Neoga), Alexis  VanDyke (North Clay), Adysen Rios (St. Anthony), and Samantha Hayes (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg).

Brownstown/St. Elmo's Tim Pasley was named Coach of the Year. The Bombers played Saturday for the championship of the Mount Olive Regional but fell to Father McGivney by only two points, 47-45.

Named to the First Team for the boys were Ryan Schmidt (St. Anthony), Brock Fearday (St. Anthony), Caleb Gephart (Dieterich), Kaidyn Miller (Altamont), Lucas Westendorf (Dieterich) and Adam Atwood (St. Elmo/Brownstown).

St. Anthony's Schmidt was named Most Valuable Player.

Named to the Second Team were Collin Westendorf (St.Anthony), Landen Keck (Dieterich), Cody Zimdars (North Clay), Clayton Wojcik (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City), Jackson Gurgel (Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg) and Aden McManaway (Altamont).

Honorable Mention went to Cade Schaub (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Eli Miller (Altamont), Trey Sheehan (Neoga), Carder Walden (North Clay) and Max Magnus (South Central).

St. Anthony's Cody Rincker was named Coach of the Year.
