Paul Confirms New Deal With Clippers

(Los Angeles, CA  -- Chris Paul's tenure with the Los Angeles Clippers will continue.  ESPN reports the All-Star point guard has agreed to a new five-year, $107-million deal with L.A. Paul confirmed the deal on Twitter, posting, "I'M IN!!! #CLIPPERNATION."  He averaged 16.9 points and 9.7 assists for the Clippers this past season, helping lead them to their first Pacific Division title. Paul's deal can't be officially signed until after the salary cap is set on July 10.

 

Lakers, NBA Continue To Watch Howard

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Los Angeles Lakers along with the entire NBA have their eyes focused on free agent center Dwight Howard.  The Lakers are among five teams reportedly courting Howard. The 27-year-old is also considering the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks. Players are free to negotiate with teams, but cannot sign until July 10.
