The Bulldogs ripped out to a 16-5 opening quarter lead as Collin Westendorf and Ryan Schmidt scored a three-pointer and a two-pointer for five each. Kage Hiestand scored three of South Central's five points.
The lead went to 30-11 at halftime behind Brock Fearday's seven points while Schmidt added five more.
The lone points for the Cougars were two three-pointers by Max Magnus.
St. Anthony continued on with a 22-8 third quarter as seven players scored. Nick Ruholl nailed two three-pointers while Will Fearday added five.
Two players scored in double digits for the Bulldogs as Schmidt and B. Fearday had 13 each. Schmidt hit five field goals, three from trifecta land, and B. Fearday had six field goals, one a three-pointer.
Magnus led South Central with nine points on three trifectas.
St. Anthony won the junior varsity contest, 50-27. Keenan Griffith and Luis Canales-Gonzales tallied 12 points each for the Bulldogs while Aiden Lauritzen added nine.
South Central was led by Smith with 10.

At Charleston
Effingham fell to Charleston as two Apollo Conference teams met Tuesday evening, 67-41.
The Trojans held a 12-8 opening quarter lead. Rylan Pals connected on a three-pointer, Nolan Fearday a basket and Wade Bushur a free throw for EHS.
Charleston had a slight 17-15 second quarter edge to lead 29-21 at halftime.
The Trojans then took off in the secod half with a 38-20 run.
"We were down 12-1 and came back to go up 16-12," said EHS Coach Obie Farmer. "But we couldn't sustain. They beat us on the boards."
Effingham was led by Fearday with 10 points on three field goals, one a three-pointer, and three of three at the line. Four other players scored six each.

Altamont pushed its National Trail Conference record to 5-0 and its overall mark to 17-6 with a 65-41 win over Neoga Tuesday evening.
Altamont held a 17-12 opening quarter lead behind Aden McManaway's 10 points. He connected on two three-pointers and two regular baskets.
Kaidyn Miller hit a basket and was five of five at the line for seven points in the 24-8 second period run by Altamont. Kaden Davis added seven points and Alec Jahraus a three-pointer.
Altamont kept the pressure on with a 20-10 third quarter to lead 61-30. Neoga had a final quarter 11-4 run.
McManaway led Altamont with 20 points on nine field goals, two from three-point range. K. Miller added 18 and Davis chipped in with 12.
Neoga was led by James Bullock with 13 points on five field goals, one a three-pointer, and two of four at the line. Trey Sheehan and Gavin Ray scored nine each.
Altamont won the junior varsity game, 60-43.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City took the momentum in the opening quarter with a 23-9 run and never looked back in a 59-49 victory over Patoka Tuesday evening.
The Bobcats ran out to the big lead behind AJ Radloff's nine points and Gage Lorton's eight. CHBC held a 33-20 halftime lead.
Both teams played to a 9-9 third quarter while Patoka came back with a 20-17 final period run only to fall short.
Clayton Wojcik led the way for CHBC with 20 points on nine field goals and two of two at the line. He scored 10 in the final quarter. Radloff added 16 and Lorton 14.

St. Elmo/Brownstown edged Raymond Lincolnwood, 44-39 in Tuesday evening action.
The Eagles took a 14-8 opening quarter lead and led 22-18 at halftime.
SEB then had a slight 22-21 second half edge for the five-point win.
Cade Schaub led the way for the Eagles with six of 11 from the field including two of two from three-point range. He hit two of four from the free throw line for 13 points. Alex Atwood added 12 points. Atwood led in rebounds pulling down a whopping 16, 14 coming on the defensive board. Schaub and Atwood had three steals each. Atwood and Josiah Maxey had three assists each.
St. Elmo/Brownstown is now 20-6 on the season and back in action Friday at Altamont.

Dieterich tallied a 63-37 victory over Martinsville Tuesday evening.
At Tolono Unity
Newton traveled to Tolono Unity and fell to the homestanders by a 77-52 count Tuesday evening.
The Eagles held a 12-9 opening quarter lead behind five points by Dylan Gier and a three-pointer by Caden Nichols.
But Tolono Unity came roaring back with a 22-15 second quarter to lead 31-27 at halftime. The two teams played to an 18-18 third quarter before Tolono Unity broke loose with a 28-7 final quarter for the winning margin.
Parker Wolf and Nichols led the way for Newton with 12 points each. Wolf hit five field goals, two from three-point range, while Nichols hit four field goals, three of those trifectas and was one of one at the line.

Cumberland trailed Sullivan 16-9 after the opening quarter and could never get back on track in a 52-31 loss Tuesday evening.
Sullivan's Bushue put together five baskets that included two three-pointers and was two of three at the line for 14 of his team's 16 opening quarter points. He finished with 22 to lead the way while Lane added 14.
The Pirates were led by Kaleb Bierman with nine points on three field goals and three of four at the line while Zack Harmon added eight.
