Fearday connected on a three-pointer and two regular baskets for seven as St. Anthony took an 11-6 lead.
Then it was Ryan Schmidt who took over the scoring duties with nine points in the second period as St. Anthony pushed its lead to 26-19 at halftime.
Schmidt came back in the third quarter, still on fire, with two three-pointers and two free throws for eight while Collin Westendorf also went on a tear with two baskets and three free throws for seven and St. Anthony led 49-34 going onto the final quarter.
The two teams played to a 12-12 final quarter tie.
Schmidt hit six field goals, two from three-point range, and was six of eight at the line for 22 points. Also in double figures were Westendorf with 13 and B. Fearday with 12.
In junior varsity action, Casey-Westfield was a 51-39 winner. The Bulldogs were led by Will Fearday with 22 points.

At Dieterich
Dieterich took charge early and handed St. Elmo/Brownstown a 65-46 loss as two National Trail Conference teams clashed Tuesday evening.
The Movin' Maroons headed out to a 17-5 opening quarter lead behind Caleb Gephart who scored seven points.
Dieterich then had an 18-13 second period to lead 35-18 at halftime. Landen Keck took over the scoring duties with three baskets and two of two at the line for eight points. The Maroons hit six of seven free throws in the quarter.
Gephart went on a third quarter run, scoring four baskets and two of three free throws for 10 points as Dieterich went into a 56-32 third quarter lead. Lucas Westendorf hit for five points.
SEB had a 14-9 final quarter as Lowell Wilhour hit two three-pointers.
Gephart finished with 21 points on eight field goals, one a trifecta, and was four of six at the line. Also in double digits were Westendorf with 11 and Keck with 10.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by two players in double figures. Collin Maxey and Adam Atwood scored 10 each. Maxey connected on four baskets and two of three at the line while Atwood hit four baskets, one from three-point range, and was one of one at the line.
SEB drops to 18-6 overall.

At Altamont
The game started slow before Altamont handed Flora a 43-38 non-conference loss Tuesday evening.
The Indians edged out to a 6-4 lead on Flora behind a basket by Eli Miller and two free throws from Kade Milleville.
Flora then went on a 14-11 second period run to lead 18-17 at halftime. Milleville connected on five points for the Indians.
Altamont came back with a 12-9 third quarter run to move ahead 29-27. Miller scored seven points while Milleville added another three-pointer.
In the final quarter, Altamont had a 14-11 run for the five-point victory. Milleville continued on in the three-point run with two more and a free throw for seven and Aden McManaway put in a three-pointer and a free throw.
Milleville finished with 17 points on five field goals, four from three-point range, and three of four at the line. Miller added 12.

At Newton
The Wooden Shoes of Teutopolis put together a 43-34 victory over Newton in Tuesday evening play.
T-town edged out to a 9-4 opening quarter lead but Newton came roaring back with a 17-8 second period behind Gus Bierman's seven points to lead 21-17.
T-town didn't stay down long. The Shoes went on a 14-5 third quarter surge to move ahead 31-26 going into the final period.
T-town then held off the Eagles, 10-8 for the victory.
Garrett Gaddis led the way for T-town with five field goals, one from three-point range, and four of four at the line for 15 points.
Newton was led by Bierman with four field goals and four of five at the line for 12 points. Parker Wolf also finished in double figures with 10.

At Louisville
North Clay (Louisville) played host to Neoga and claimed a victory. No score was reported.
The Cardinals are now 2-4 in the National Trail Conference, 9-14 overall. They return to action Friday against Dieterich.
At Windsor
Pana went overtime before edging Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 62-60 in a non-conference matchup Tuesday evening.
The Hatchets ripped out to a 20-9 opening quarter lead but couldn't hold that edge. Pana came back with a 17-12 second quarter to pull within 32-26.
The Panthers then had a 16-9 third quarter to pull ahead 42-41. But here came the Hatchets with a 13-12 final period to tie the score at 54-54.
In the overtime, Pana had an 8-6 run for the victory.
Nathaniel Gracey led the way for WSS with 16 points on five field goals, one from three-point range, and five of six at the line. Jackson Gurgel chipped in with 15.
The Hatchets drop to 12-15 on the season while Pana improved to 6-17.
Windsor/Stew-Stras took the junior varsity contest, 29-24. The Hatchets are back in action Friday at Mulberry Grove.

Cumberland suffered a 56-45 loss at the hands of Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Tuesday evening.
ALAH edged ahead 12-11 in the opening quarter then went on a 16-8 second period run to lead 28-19 at halftime.
Although Cumberland stayed close in the second half, the Pirates could never get over the hump.
Kelby Bierman was the lone Pirate player in double figures with 20 on 10 field goals.
