St. Anthony Still No. 1 In Latest State Boys Polls, Altamont, Effingham Girls In Top 10

Effingham St. Anthony kept the top spot in the Class 1A State Boys Poll. The Bulldogs were 17-4 at the time of the poll vote with 135 points.

In Class 2A, Teutopolis is in the others receiving votes category with six.

In the girls polls, Altamont sits in fourth place in the Class 1A poll with a 19-2 record and 56 points. The Indians moved up from fifth place last week.

Effingham St. Anthony and Brownstown/St. Elmo are in the others receiving votes category in 1A . The Bulldogs had six votes while Brownstown/St. Elmo had two.

Teutopolis is also in the others receiving votes category in 2A with two votes.

Effingham still sits in the 10th spot in Class 3A. The Hearts are 18-4 and have 10 points.
