ST. ELMO -- St. Elmo/Brownstown put up a big scoring night in downing Edinburg/South Fork, 85-55 Wednesday.

SEB put together a 21-13 opening quarter run and led 42-27 at halftime.

Four players hit double figures for the winners. Cade Schaub led the way with 19 points as he connected on 70 percent of his field goals with seven of 10, hit one three-pointer and was four of six at the free throw line.

Adam Atwood was next in line with 18 points, hitting eight of 14 from the field, one three-pointer and one of two at the ilne.

Following the top two were Collin Maxey with 17 and Brody Mason with 16. Mason connected on three trifectas as SEB hit six.

Atwood led the way in rebounding with 11, seven on the defensive end of the floor, and also led in assists with six. Schaub and Josiah Maxey had three steals each. Schaub had one blocked shot.

St. Elmo/Brownstown improved to 14-3 on the season and is back in action Friday at Odin.
