Dieterich Bounces Patoka, 69-46 In Boys Basketball

PATOKA -- Dieterich High School bounced Patoka by a 69-46 score in a non-conference boys basketball contest Monday evening.

Three players finished in double figures for the Movin' Maroons. Lucas Westendorf led the way with six field goals and seven of eight at the line for 19 points. Landen Keck added 17 on five field goals, three trom three-point land, and four of six at the line. Caleb Gephart tallied 16 on four field goals, two of those three-pointers, and six of eight at the line.

Dieterich zipped out to a 17-10 opening quarter lead and then had a 19-7 second period for a 36-17 halftime tally.

The Maroons finished with five three-pointers from Keck and Gephart. They hit 20 of 29 free throws

Patoka had only four free throw attempts and connected on two. But the Warriors finished with 10 three-pointers, five by Cain.
