Teutopolis claimed junior high boys basketball victories over Effingham Sacred Heart Thursday.

The Wooden Shoes had a 26-3 opening quarter lead and never looked back in the seventh-grade contest that ended 54-14.

Kale Goeckner led the way for T-town with 20 points while Grant Tegeler added 10.

Sacred Heart was led by Gabe Traub with 10.

In the eighth-grade game, T-town was a 53-11 winner. T-town held a 29-4 halftime lead.

Eric Weidner tallied 17 points for the Shoes.

Traub again led the Shamrocks with four points.
