The Bullpups defeated Arcola, 24-12. Arcola held a 6-0 opening quarter lead and led 7-5 at halftime. St. Anthony then had an 8-1 third quarter run to lead 13-7 and outscored Arcola 9-4 in the final period.
Bella Schultz led St. Anthony with eight points while Nina Semple added six.
In the second contest, Casey-Westfield was a 26-12 winner over Stewardson-Strasburg.
The regional continues tonight as St. Anthony meets top-seeded Paris Crestwood at 6 p.m. followed by Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, seeded No. 2, taking on Casey-Westfield at 7:15 p.m.
The winners advance to the championship Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Class 7-1A Neoga Regional
Neoga, Sigel St.Michael and Ramsey were winners in opening round play of the Neoga Regional Saturday.
Neoga, seeded fourth, defeated fifth-seeded Effingham Sacred Heart, 40-21.
No. 2 Sigel St. Michael won over Mulberry Grove, 45-7.
Ramsey, seeded third, was a 35-4 winner over Mattoon St. John's.
The regional continues Tuesday as Neoga faces top-seeded Pocahontas at 6 p.m. followed by St. Michael taking on Ramsey at 7:15 p.m.
The winners advance to the regional championship Thursday at 6 p.m.
Class 7-2A Albion Regional
South Central was the lone area winner to advance in the Class 7-2A Edwards County (Albion) Regional
South Central, seeded fifth, defeated fourth-seeded North Clay (Louisville), 24-13.
In the second contest, Red Hill (Bridgeport), seeded seventh, upset second-seeded Dieterich, 23-19.
The third game was another upset as sixth-seeded Albion downed third-seeded Altamont, 26-10.
Tonight's games feature top-seeded Brownstown/St. Elmo against South Central at 5 p.m. followed by Red Hill against Albion at 7.
The winners will meet Wednesday for the regional championship at 6 p.m.
Class 7-3A Marshall Regional
Second-seeded Teutopolis advanced by pounding seventh-seeded Cumberland, 66-15 Saturday.
The Wooden Shoes ripped out to a 16-4 opening quarter lead and led 32-8 at halftime. The Shoes had a 21-5 third quarter.
Lily Kreke and Faith Ruholl scored 10 points each for the winners who are now 20-1 on the season.
In the opening game, fifth-seeded Marshall upset fourth-seeded Robinson Nuttall, 35-24.
Third-seeded Lawrenceville Parkview won over sixth-seeded Jasper County, 36-20.
Tuesday evening games feature top-seeded Paris Mayoa gainst Marshall at 6 p.m. followed by Teutopolis taking on Lawrenceville Parkview at 7:15 p.m.
The winners then meet for the regional championship WEdnesday at 6 p.m.

Class 7-4A Taylorville Regional
Effingham saw its season come to a close at the hands of Rochester, 31-1 Saturday.
In the opening game, Mattoon won over Stephen Decatur, 26-15. Taylorville downed Charleston 43-7.
Third-seeded Rochester then beat sixth-seeded Effingham.
Top-seeded Mt. Zion will take on No. 5 Mattoon at 5 p.m. today while No. 2 Taylorville faces No. 3 Rochester at 6:15 p.m.
The winners advance to the championship game Tuesday at 6 p.m.
