The Bullpups won the seventh-grade game, 55-29. St. Anthony took a 16-2 opening quarter lead behind the scoring of Blake Verdeyen with eight points and Curtis Tingley with five. Charlie Bierman connected on a three-pointer for the other scorer in the period.
St. Anthony held a 32-8 halftime lead and had a 21-11 third quarter run.
Verdeyen finished with 28 points for the winners while Tingley added eight. The Bullpups are 4-0.
St. Michael was led by Zach Ordner and Clayton Altgilbers with seven each.
In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony was a 42-20 winner. The Bullpups had a 15-1 second quarter run to lead 24-6 at halftime.
Cooper Sehy tallied 11 points while Connor Storm added 10 and Jonny Gannaway nine for the winners.
The Sharpshooters were led by Durdel with 10.

At Effingham
In the eighth-grade contest against Mount Vernon Zadok Casey, Effingham captured a 46-24 win Monday.
Mount Vernon held an 11-6 opening quarter lead and led 19-14 at halftime. The squad then had a 27-10 second half.
Effingham had one player hit double figures. Jenner Pals connected on six field goals and was two of two at the line for 14 points.
Mount Vernon won the seventh-grade game, 37-29. Mount Vernon took a 21-11 halftime lead. Effingham outscored Mount Vernon in the second half by only by a two-point margin.
Rohr tallied 11 for the Mustangs. EJHS dropped to 0-3 on the season.

Newton St. Thomas played host to Stewardson-Strasburg and claimed two victories Monday evening.
St. Thomas was a winner in the seventh-grade game, 26-19, taking a 14-11 opening quarter lead and holding Stew-Stras scoreless in the final quarter.
Herman scored 10 to lead the winners.
Stew-Stras was led by Noah Vonderheide with eight points and Weston Friese with seven. The team is now 2-2 on the season.
In eighth-grade action, St. Thomas led 22-10 at halftime and went on for a 41-28 win.
Fulton led the winners with 26 points on 12 field goals and two free throws.
Stew-Stras was led by Mason Manhart with eight and Riley Bible with seven. The team fell to 1-2.

At Dieterich
Dieterich and Jasper County split victories Monday evening.
In the seventh-grade contest, Jasper County was a 39-17 winner over Dieterich. Jasper County held a 24-11 halftime lead.
Jasper County was led by Brenden Emmerich with 10 points and was the top defender. Jacob Ferguson was the top rebounder. The team improved to 4-0.
Dieterich was led by Weston Goeckner with eight points and Carter Bierman with seven.
In eighth-grade play, Dieterich was a 55-44 winner in overtime.
Dieterich held a 14-11 opening quarter lead and led 29-17 at halftime and 39-28 going into the final quarter. Jasper County mounted a comeback and tied the score at 42-42 sending the game into overtime. Dieterich then had a 13-2 run.
Bryce Bohnhoff scored 15 points, Alex Schottman 12 and Ben Schottman 11 for the winners.
Jasper County was led by Chance Mulvey with 14 and Eli Wolf with 10. Mulvey also was the top defender and Mack Huber the top rebounder. The winners improved to 3-1.
