In game two, Altamont edged Stewardson-Strasburg, 18-17.
Stew-Stras held a 4-2 opening quarter lead and led 11-10 at halftime. Stew-Stras and Altamont played to a 4-4 third quarter before Altamont came back to take the win with a 4-2 final period.
Altamont was led by Denton with eight points.
Stew-Stras was led by Maddy Manhart with 11 points.
In the second game, Brownstown/St. Elmo edged Effingham Sacred Heart, 34-33.
No other information was provided on the game.
The tournament continues tonight as top-seeded Sigel St. Michael takes on No. 9 North Clay, No. 2 Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City meets No. 7 Altamont at 6:45 and No. 3 Neoga squares off against No. 6 Dieterich at 8.
The tournament continues Thursday and will finish out with the finals Saturday.

At Charleston
Teutopolis handed Charleston losses in both seventh- and eighth-grade action Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes remained unbeaten by pounding Charleston, 36-4 in the seventh-grade contest. T-town held a 16-2 opening half lead.
Maggie Drees led the way for the Shoes with 10 points. T-town is a perfect 10-0 on the season.
In eighth-grade action, T-town had a 15-0 opening quarter run and finished out with a 40-14 victory.
Ella Willenborg scored 12 points to lead the way for the Shoes who improve to 7-3.
